Gangsters? Up North?
Presented by:
Robert Knapp, University of California-Berkeley
Like anyone else, gangsters of the 1920s and 1930s liked to get away from it all. Sometimes their trips to Northern Michigan involved gambling, bootlegging, and kidnapping. At other times, they only sought rest and relaxation. Come learn about the mobsters from Detroit, Chicago, and Toledo who headed up north.

*** Register by 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 16th ***

This free lecture is only available to ERAHS members through remote access. If you are not an ERAHS member but would like to become one, click here.
