Our usual once-a-month (May through October) in-person programs have been expanded to ONLINE presentations three-times-a-month EVERY MONTH for as long as they are available to us from the Historical Society of Michigan.

"Raising the Roof on Michign's Barn Heritage"

Discover early barn construction and how agricultural development actually changed barn architecture. Through photographs of various barns, including three 1860-built barns in Ingham County, attendees will learn how to recognize various architectural types and how construction varies. The program will also bring into focus what barns are like today and why.
