Our Fieldstone Heritage
Presented by:
Peter Daly, Journalist (Retired)
Michigan farmers regarded fieldstones as a nuisance. Thousands of years before, glaciers had scattered them across the landscape, and they interfered with spring plowing. Builders, however, used fieldstones to create beautiful houses, schools, churches, barns, and other structures. Join us to discover the buildings that constitute Michigan’s fieldstone heritage.

*** Register by 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 5th ***

This free lecture is only available to ERAHS members through remote access. If you are not an ERAHS member but would like to become one, click here.
